Cactus Club Cafe North VancouverAfter originally pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Courtenay changed careers to Culinary Arts after discovering a passion for cooking during her first restaurant job. Over the past 9 years in the industry, Courtenay has earned her Red Seal Certification, helped train and develop Chefs, Sous Chefs, and General Managers, contributed to menu testing and development teams, and opened multiple restaurants across Canada. Courtenay now joins us as a Chef at Cactus Club Cafe, successfully blending her original passion for business with her love of cooking and dedication to developing people and fostering community. Outside of the restaurant, you’ll find Courtenay hiking mountains, practicing yoga, enjoying live music, or spending time at home with her cats, Willow and Maple.
