Jessica Coté

Jessica Coté is the founder and owner of KWE Cocktails, a Québec-based Indigenous beverage company she established in 2017. Raised in the Saguenay region, Jessica grew up deeply connected to the land. Alongside her brothers, she worked as an agricultural producer of small northern berries, developing an early appreciation for the richness and uniqueness of Québec’s boreal terroir.

Driven by a desire to showcase Nordic flavours in a modern and accessible way, Jessica launched KWE Cocktails as a passion project. What began as a creative exploration of local ingredients—such as boreal botanicals, wild berries, and forest aromatics—quickly evolved into a fast-growing premium brand recognized for its innovation and authenticity.

Under her leadership, KWE Cocktails has developed a distinctive range of non-alcoholic beverages and cocktail syrups that celebrate Canada’s northern identity. The company has earned multiple awards for innovation and product excellence, positioning itself as a leader in the fast-growing alcohol-free market.

Jessica is known for her entrepreneurial spirit, strong storytelling ability, and commitment to ethical sourcing and local partnerships. Her mission is to democratize boreal flavours and create immersive taste experiences that allow people to travel through Canada’s forests—one glass at a time.

Today, what started as a small passion project has become a nationally recognized brand, proudly rooted in Indigenous identity, terroir, and craftsmanship.
