Lorie Leung
Charton HobbsLorie Leung is a Toronto-based hospitality industry professional with over 13 years of experience in Vancouver and Toronto. With a background in corporate events and restaurant operations, she understands the magic (and madness) behind what makes a bar or restaurant truly successful and brings that perspective into in beverage sales and brand partnerships.
Before stepping into the agency world with Charton Hobbs, Lorie earned her stripes across a variety of Toronto venues such as Antler Kitchen + Bar, The Drake, Richmond Station and Harbour60, along with corporate groups such as Cactus Club Cafe. Today, she works closely with some of Toronto’s most exciting on-premise accounts, managing a dynamic portfolio of wine and spirits brands and helping operators bring them to life through menus, staff education and creative activations. Her approach is simple: make it make sense for the business and make it feel good for the guest.
Known for her collaborative energy, Lorie thrives on building partnerships that go beyond just a placement on a list. Whether it’s launching a new wine pour or gluing fake snow onto an indoor ski lift for a winter chalet event, she’s always thinking about how product, culture, and occasion connect. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her exploring Toronto’s food scene, planning her next trip around what she’ll eat and drink, curating Spotify playlists for her friends, attempting to fly fish with her partner and advocating for mental health resources.
