Ramanpreet Sidhu’s culinary journey began unexpectedly when she moved to Canada from India five years ago to pursue a degree in Psychology. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion during the pandemic when she found herself working in kitchens. After graduating, an interview with JOEY Restaurants sparked a deep interest in the culinary world. Inspired by her Chef's passion, Ramanpreet embraced the opportunity and quickly advanced to becoming the Night Sous Chef at JOEY Burnaby within just a year.

Now leading and mentoring a team of 30, Ramanpreet is dedicated to fostering growth and development in her team. She is also passionate about championing women in the culinary industry, empowering future female leaders to find their voice and confidence in the kitchen.
