Val Tait

With nearly three decades in the Okanagan wine industry, Valeria Tait is General Manager and Winemaker at Gold Hill Winery. Trained in Molecular Genetics and Viticulture at UC Davis, she brings experience from leading wineries to craft small-lot, estate-grown wines with precision and an artisanal, hands-on approach.

Gold Hill Winery farms 65 acres across the Okanagan Valley, including prized vineyards on the Golden Mile and in Osoyoos. Guided by 8,000 years of agricultural heritage, the family crafts small-lot, estate-grown wines and supplies premium fruit that forms the backbone of many of British Columbia’s most celebrated wineries.
