Yingzhen Hu

Yingzhen Hu, known as Selivia, began her culinary career in 2017 after graduating with First-Class Honours from the Culinary Arts Academy at César Ritz Colleges in Switzerland.

Her international culinary journey has taken her to kitchens across Europe and North America - including renowned establishments such as Penha Longa Resort, The Ritz-Carlton in Portugal, and Auberge du Soleil in Napa. These experiences have shaped her professional philosophies and appreciation for different culinary cultures.

Selivia joined the team at Fairmont Waterfront in 2022, working her way up to the Chef de Partie role through her passion for teamwork, continuous learning, and meticulous attention to detail. She is motivated by developing skills, embracing opportunities, and supporting those around her as she continues to build her culinary career.
